She has taken the prime time scene by storm after grabbing the lead role for the Philippine remake of Marimar, a Mexican telenovela that was starred by Thalia. Now, she is the Philippines Sexiest Woman based on the list of the FHM Magazine. But before having all these success in her life right now, Marian Rivera was just one of the ordinary girls.
Marian finishes her college degree in De La Salle University at Dasmariñas Cavite, where she took up A.B. in Psychology. However, she thinks her heart is really inclined to the glitz and glamour of the show business so she decided to leave her home town and pursues her career in ramp and commercial modeling.
She also starred on many TV series before, as well as movies, after she has taken the lead role that makes her change her life right now. She auditioned for the said role and luckily it was given to her by faith. The Philippine version of this soap invades the television industry once more just like the Mexican version. With her role as Marimar, Marian took a great leap on her career. She became one of the top endosers and commercials came here and there. She also releases a dance album which showcases her passion in dancing. After Marimar, Marian also snatches the role for Dyesebel, a popular comic book character here in the Philippines.
Last July 17, Marian was hailed as FHM Philippines Sexiest Woman despite the fact that she haven’t been in the magazines’ cover yet. Right now, she’s still working on her TV series Dyesebel and some commercials.
