Electronic Capital of the Philippines

Akihabara

In Japan, Tokyo is famous for their “Akihabara”, a major shopping area for electronic goods. However, here in the Philippines you can also enjoy shopping in our own electronic haven in Quiapo along Raon Street formerly Gonzalo Puyat Street.

At Raon, you can buy any kind of electronic related goods
at a cheaper price. They also offer second-hand or slightly used gadgets also with a low price. Obviously, you’ll see that the place is very much a typical Filipino market except of course doesn’t sell fresh goods. Along the streets are vendors of screws, plugs, soldering irons, electric wires and many more. Another thing is that, be used to the noise of this place because the stalls are busy testing their products like speakers, microphones, radios, videoke machines, etc.

Just an advice before doing your shop here, do make a canvassing first of the items you wanna buy. Then, always ask for receipts because mostly the stores here wouldn’t give you unless you ask for it.

So, if you’re looking for things related to electronic visit Raon at the old downtown, Quiapo, Manila.
