BookFair

It is more of an invitation to everyone, especially to those bookworms out there. This coming September 12-16, the Manila International Book Fair will hold its 29th year with a theme “Words without Borders”. This will take place at the SMX Convention Center, Bay Area in Pasay City from 10:00 – 8:00 pm. Almost 70 exhibitors from prominent publishing companies, universities and bookstores are expecting to attend the said bookfair.

I really can’t imagine life without books. They are considered as one of the greatest creation of man. Despite of the advancement of technology today, I still prefer reading books than reading e-books. I enjoy the traditional way of reading. Browsing on the pages makes me sink in further to the story I am dealing with. A book is more likely a companion to me and of course an excellent mentor. The way they handed us information is very much useful in our part. I am just a bit sad because as time passed by there are more and more children who decline into the habit of reading. They just find time to read books if they are in school and if it’s badly needed. I wish these kids would realize the importance of books before it’s too late.

Can't wait... See you there!
